Most of the internet sells you an impression and hopes you never check what it was worth. ADWARS sells exactly one thing, in public, to whoever wants it most: the only advertisement on this website.
There is no auction house, no minimum term, no account manager. Beat the sitting king by $1 and the billboard is yours the second the payment clears. Right now that number is $5.
The other half is free. Anyone can build a billboard without paying or signing up — it gets a permanent page and its own share card whether or not it ever touches the throne. Most of the billboards counted above never cost anybody a cent.
Because an ad slot whose performance you cannot see is just a donation. Every reign shows its click count and its cost per click on the front page while it runs, and keeps them forever in the Graveyard. If the throne is a bad deal, this page is where you would find that out.
Visitors are counted with a single number in our own database, once per address per day. No cookies, no third-party analytics, no profile of you. Clicks are counted once per address per ad every ten minutes, so the cost-per-click on the front page means something.
